LCD means Liquid Crystal Display, it is a technology consisting of 2 layers, and in one layer the liquid crystals are filled. In the initial period of this technology there were several shortcomings but with the increasing span of time, these were removed and several changes have been implemented at several stages of the product lifecycle.
There are some features related to LCD monitors and Openframe LCDs, which should be considered while making any purchase:
The first factor is “native pixel resolution” which is very important. The higher the native pixel resolution, the better will be the sharpness and quality of the picture.
The next important feature is the motion response time; it is measured in milliseconds and determines the motion sharpness.
The another feature is the screen refresh rate, which should be considered by any buyer before the purchase, It is the rate at which the screen data is refreshed. Most LCD comes with a refresh rate of 60 Hz which is quite acceptable but the best refresh rate is around 120Hz.
LCD screen displays have taken technological innovation in a whole route. They’re simple to use, high quality images, and they are cost effective as their costs have been losing so considerably these days.
It’s not always about price only which is making it popular among its customers, but there are several such features which make it stand apart.
Openframe LCD are quite thin and originate high quality images.
They are having lower contrast ratios.
They are most demanding and desirous for the work places, offices and homes due to its compatibility and occupying less space.
They ??n b? safely mounted ?n racks ?r wall brackets.
It can include several Other Display Options with HDMI; DVI; Privacy Filter; Motion sensing; RS232 Remote Control; Daylight Readability; Composite and S-Video inputs
Open frame display comprises of the LCD panel, inverter, AD board and its related cabling in a strong metal body with many front and rear mounting options.
Open frame LCD displays provide the most cost effective display solution and are ideally designed for industrial applications like ATM machines, kiosks, exhibition displays, industrial application devices where the LCD is used as a component. It does not need any separate source to display components and cabling.
It has been made such a way that it allows better readability in sunny environments due to LCD flat panel monitor with high brightness levels.
The function and features of an open frame LCD monitor gives it more a futuristic look. A I S has announced its line of OPEN FRAME LCD display with LED-backlit and touchscreen for equipment, machinery and operator interface.
Other Display Options include: HDMI; DVI; Privacy Filter; Motion sensing; RS232 Remote Control; Daylight Readability; Composite and S-Video inputs
